Reading nooks

I love this image.  It just makes me want to curl up with a book or three.  Plus there’s a small part of my brain which is crying… “it wouldn’t be that hard to do!”  Of course I don’t have the large country house to go with the comfy shady reading area but I do have the trees to read under.

Reading nooks

I don’t know about anyone else but my books have taken over my house. They are never contained to just the bookshelves I had made for them. Partially I think that’s because I’m a chronic re-reader. It’s very hard for me to wander past a book shelf and not pull out a book to remind myself of a particular scene or character.

I love that this reading area is so perfectly set up for reading.  Great lighting, comfy daybed to curl up on and a table in easy reach to stack books on (okay, and perhaps a cup of tea).
